The Board of the Nookachamp Hills Homeowners Association is seeking residents to help with the revisions of the rules and regulations of our Homeowners CC&Rs. The intention is to clarify and/or revise current and out of use language in this document.
A committee that is formed would meet at one or more residences at a time with approximately three residents to assist. The only qualifications are to be a legal resident in good standing with the HOA and access to email.
Interested residents should reply to vbeancounter@msn.com to submit your information.

Dam Inspection
Otter Pond Dam inspection by a Washington state qualified expert will commence in late March, 2022. A final report will be submitted to the Board and Residents upon completion.
A staff gauge will soon be installed at the Pond to measure and record water level fluctuations during significant rain events. This is a State requirement to satisfy our preparedness obligations.
Fishing Day for Kids
Fishing Day for Kids is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2022. This is open to children and guests of valid Nookachamp Hills residents. Further details to be announced. Private donations for stocking Otter Pond with trout will be gladly accepted. Contact Board member Steve Bloom for details

Election of All-Homeowner Board of Directors

On October 20, 2021 an election was held at the Big Lake Fire Hall to elect five Directors to the Board.
Elected were:
Bruce Scott – President -1 year Term
Krista Jellison - Vice-President – 2 year Term
Steve Bloom – Secretary – 1 year Term
Jennifer Johnson – Treasurer – 2 year Term
Derrick Smale – Director – 1 year Term
The terms are staggered. Not all five directors will be up for election each year at the Annual Meeting.

Today, March 4th 2021, we had a quorum of 63 votes and all 3 existing Board Members were voted in:
Bruce Scott
Steve Bloom
Krista Jellison
The votes were counted and certified by volunteers, Al Carter and Pat Hoyrup. Thank you to all Nookachamp Hills residents who cast your vote in this election.

Holiday Lights
There was an error in this newsletter. The date for the removal of holiday lighting is January 15, not the 31st.
See Article 10 of the Rules & Regulations:
10. Exterior Holiday Decorations. Exterior Holiday Decorations. Christmas season ornaments and lights may not be put up prior to November 15 and must be removed by January 15. Halloween season decorations and lights may not be put up prior to October 1 and must be removed by November 5. Other holidays (i.e. Valentine’s Day, July 4th, etc) decorations may not be put up prior to 10 days before the holiday and must be removed not later than 5 days after the holiday.
